2. GORAN KOCMAN THE NEW PRESIDENT OF NK KRAS
Soccer; Goran Kocman is the new president of NK KRAS. He succeeds Domenico Centrone, who is now honorary member of the club from Repen. The club secretary is Paolo Sarazin, who also coordinates the activities of NK KRAS junior teams.

5. AŠD SOVODNJE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Sovodnje; At the premises of the Združena kreditna banka Doberdob and Sovodnje there was the AŠD SOVODNJE annual general meeting. The main speech was held by the President of the association Zdravko Kuštrin.

9. VOLLEYBALL, ITALY WITH ČERNIC AT THE WORLD LEAGUE FINAL SIX
In Belgrade the Italian national volleyball team (Matej Černic 4 points) lost 3 : 2 (21:25, 21:25, 25:23, 25:20, 15:6) against Serbia in the last match of the qualifications for the final tournament of the World League . In spite of the loss Italy is still first in group B and will play at the TOP SIX in Cordoba in Argentina from 21st to 25th July.

10. AŠD SOKOL, SAVO UŠAJ CONFIRMED PRESIDENT
Nabrežina; the newly elected committee of the Association AŠD SOKOL had the first meeting on 25th June. Savo Ušaj was confirmed President.The other functions were also allotted.

16. SPORTS INTERREG SŠZ and ZSŠDI
Ukve; In Ukve the representatives of the Slovenian sports association in Klagenfurt (SŠZ) and of the Association of the Slovenian sports clubs in Italy - Gorica (ZSŠDI) Ivan Lukan and Igor Tomasetig, and the President of the Slovenian cultural centre Planika in Ukve Rodolfo Bartaloth signed the agreement of collaboration within the programmes Interreg between Italy and Austria.

16. SOCCER: UNFORGETTABLE MEETING OF THE YOUTH FROM DOBERDOB WITH PAHOR AND THE MEMBERS OF THE SLOVENIAN NATIONAL TEAM
Soccer, Bilje (Slovenia): at the charity match in Bilje the young football players of Mladost from Doberdob met the Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor, some members of the Slovenian national team and its coach Matjaž Krek. It was an unforgettable event for the youung players from Doberdob.

18. SAILING, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN CLASS 470: JAŠ AND SIMON RANKED 28TH IN THE SILVER GROUP
Sailing; Haag (Netherlands), Senior World Championship, Class 470: in a very hard competition and in bad weather conditions the Čupa sailors Simon Sivitz Košuta and Jaš Farneti (in the photo) ranked 28th in the silver group. Their ranking is very good, taking into cosideration they trained very little, as they had the final high school exam. They were in competition to enter the golden group till the last qualification regata.

27. ŠZ BOR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Trieste; at the premises of ŠD Škamperle in the Stadion Prvi Maj there was the annual general meeting of the Sports association Bor. The main speech was held by the President Igor Kocijančič. In the photo, from left: Edi Košuta, Marko Pertot and Igor Kocijančič.

28. VOLLEYBALL; WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, MATEJ ČERNIC AMONG THE CANDIDATES, LORIS MANIA’ OUT
Volleyball; Modena, the selector of the Italian national team Andrea Anastasi made known the names of 16 players who will train for the forthcoming world championship in September in Italy. Our volleyball player Matej Černic is on the list, while the libero Mania is surprisingly out. He has recently had problems with his injured knee.

30. ROBERTO FRANCO THE NEW PRESIDENT OF ZARJA/GAJA
Bazovica; at the extra annual general meeting there were some changes in the Zarja/Gaja main committee. The new President is Roberto Franco who replaced the former President Robert Kalc. Kalc is the new Vicepresident of Zarja.
